Test Comments: Emergence was excellent due to mid-May planting and having plenty of heat to get started. Jim commented that the plot did not receive any substantial rainfall during the month of July and during pollination. Despite that, ears were filled out nicely and rather girthy. There were some molds present on the ear tips where the husks had pulled back and a few foliar diseases were present on the leaves.
